    Any gear left behind will be either happily re-homed to the Unruly Gear Closet or donated.

    This Unruly Gear Swap is more than about exchanging equipment - it’s an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for the great outdoors. Share stories about your time with your gear before you pass it on to someone else - we know its meant a lot to you, so share some stories!

    By swapping gear, we promote sustainability, reduce waste, and minimize the environmental impact caused by manufacturing new items.

Join Unruly Women and 56 Brewing for an event that goes beyond swapping gear.

This will be a one of a kind gathering for outdoor enthusiasts and naturalists from all walks of life to come together, cultivate a vibrant community, foster environmental consciousness, and make a difference.

    • dog gear : backpacks, poop-baggie holder, leashes, harness, collars, toys, etc.

    • No guns or weapons [besides something like a pocket knife or saw]

    • This event is FREE

    • Both 56 Brewing and Unruly Women take diversity, equity, and inclusion seriously. This event is for everyone.

    • The idea of this event is to swap/exchange gear with one another to give your gear a new life - but, if you decide to re-sell it to someone/buy from someone - - this will be completely between the buyer/seller not Unruly Women or 56 Brewing.

    • Please clean your gear, it’s a kind thing to do before giving it a new home :)

    • There will be a food truck!

    • There are pinball machines

    • Come to look at gear or give your gear away, but stay to hang out and meet new people :) the event may end at 3pm but the brewery will be open until regular closing hours.

  • If you can’t make it to the 1-4 pm event, but you have gear you’d like to donate you can:

    • drop it off at 56 Brewing between 12:30-1pm on November 9th

    • or you can contact Monica by clicking HERE and we can figure out a solution

This event is for you if …..

  • you have outdoor gear you no longer use and it’s just gathering dust in your closet.

  • you have used gear that you love, but no longer need, and want it to go to someone who will give it the new life it deserves.

  • you’re new to outdoor spaces and want to learn more about outdoor gear

  • you want to get some gently used outdoor gear without the financial investment of new gear - - especially if you may not even know if you like that sport/hobby yet!

  • you’re a seasoned outdoors-person and just want to swap out your gear for something different.

  • you don’t actually need gear or want to give any away, but want to meet other like-minded folks who also love outdoor spaces!
