It’s Ok To Change Your Mind. And Then Change It Again.

It’s ok to change your mind. And change your mind again.

Growth happens because we’re not meant to stay the same forever. It’s ok if you thought you had it “right” this time, that this time was going to be different, but find that even if it was different and you thought it was “right” it was actually everything but. It’s good to try things and fail and make mistakes and learn from them, that’s the only way we’re going to grow into the person we’re meant to be.

Sometimes when I’ve been the most broken, in what felt like what I imagine limbo or purgatory would be like, as much as it hurt that’s where I learned the most about myself.

So, if that’s where you are right now, just remember that it gets better even though I know it doesn’t feel like it ever will.

One day you will look back, thankful for all of the life experience because that’s how you’re becoming who you’re meant to be.

It’s ok if some days you feel

nothing.

broken.

hopeful.

like you can’t get out of bed.

like you could do anything you put your mind to.

everything and nothing all at the same time.

Life is a rollercoaster of emotions sometimes and that’s ok too. Whatever it is will eventually pass, you will move on and learn from it. If you’re anything like me, often I have to learn the same lessons more than once for it to really stick… and sometimes even then I find myself asking “I thought I learned this already, seriously?!”

And, that’s ok too. You’re human.

It’s good to be able to laugh at yourself, frequently. Here I am face down in the snow after falling while snowboarding in the Wasatch.
